Khuman Dhokla









Ingredients:

  • Sooji  500 gm
  • Yogurt  500 gm
  • Fruit salt  2 tbsp
  • Oil  4 tbsp
  • Sugar  2 tbsp
  • Salt  1/2 tsp
  • Chopped red chili  1 tsp
  • Yellow colour  1 pinch
  • Green chili  20 -25
  • Chopped coriander  4-5 tbsp
  • Chopped red chili  1 tbsp
  • Tatri  1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves  2 sticks
  • Red chilies  10-12
  • Mustard seeds 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric  1/4 tsp
  • Fresh coconut  1

Method:

  1. Put water in steamer and heat it.
  2. Crush coconut.
  3. In one bowl, put sooji, yogurt, sugar, oil and yellow colour and mix them nicely.
  4. Pour water if needed and make batter thick.
  5. In end, add fruit salt, take out in dish and keep in steamer for 20 to 25 minutes.
  6. When ready, cut into pieces.
  7. Then heat oil in frying pan and make bhagar of mustard seed, red chili and curry leaves.
  8. Paste bhagar on khuman dhokara. Garnish with chopped red chili and crush coconut and serve.
